Narrative:  The pilot and co-pilot of a Robinson R66 helicopter departed from Perry, GA (PXE) en route to Atlanta, GA (FTY), on a commercial flight with one pax.  They were returning to home base at night in bad weather. NRAT was activated and within 25 minutes, passed the probable crash site location to AFRCC based on terrain probes showing where impact with the ground should occur.  The crash site was found very near the predicted location.  The aircraft was flying low to avoid the weather.
